Concrete Actions to Address the Vulnerabilities

I did mention a while ago that the primary solutions for the issues in the community is to educate, make realize, and immerse. I strongly believe that these may apply in a larger scale and may most probably lead to change.

From a personal point, I would directly educate the people around me. I could start small and discuss with my family what could be done in times of calamities, natural disasters, and etc; or perhaps, what could we possibly do to make the garbage system inside our own home better.

Next is to make them realize what are the consequences even if we do it or not. There are an infinite amount of resources online, and making them watch educational videos (specifically videos that shows the consequences of one's actions) would lead them to reassess their actions. I could also personally discuss these things to them personally; I could also share my own experiences in these matters.

Lastly, immersing them. Perhaps, looking at opportunities in our daily lives. For example, if we are to pass by the pasig river and see how polluted it is, I could share with them how we could prevent them by simple actions. Though this simple act may be not as immersive, it still is significant.
I could take this to the next level by sharing it to my friends, or even utilizing social media and the internet through the use of the same aforementioned principles, namely: educate, make realize, and immerse.
